Mayor?
The mayor in Corby conforms to standard (for Corby Labour Party that
is)
The Mayor 2000 was Jane Field.
How sad that a few months previous Ms Field was deselected by the Labour
Party, then re-instated on appeal.

Then, we hear that the Standards Committee on CBC were investigating
the allocation of
charitable funds raised by the Mayor. We await the outcome (IF they publish.......).
The Mayor 2001 was Betty Wade.
Another highly successful years fund raising (not).
It costs over £4,000 to stage the mayor's fund-raising ball alone.
Just £1200 was given to charity.
The Mayor 2002 is Willie Latta.
Watch this space.

MP was taken to an industrial tribunal by his personal assistant.
Accused, along with his other PA Les Rolfe, of sexual discrimination,
harassment, unfair dismissal, etc, etc.
Was there an 'out of court' settlement made?
How much did Mr Hope pay to 'clear his name'?
Is this 'vigorously' defending the case?
